upset about keeping around. There's nothing special really, but it's a decent flavor. Kind of light on the dark fired but you get a little taste of it now and again. I wouldn't guess there's Virginia in here. Fairly strong on the Burley though. I think I might not be as sensitive to nicotine as most of the other reviewers though, but it's not overly strong. Maybe a 3 out of 5 at best? Not a favorite, but not bad. I much prefer university flake out of Peterson blends, but for a mix like this, 1792 is miles better. If you like burley you'll enjoy this a lot....Read More

This is the strongest pipe tobacco I've ever smoked. It's hearty and bold. It's got quite a nicotine hit too. It's not an all-day smoke but it's something for a particular occasion when you want to smoke a robust and stout pipe tobacco.

It's hard to describe its flavor; perhaps that's just how Kentucky tobacco is. It's still very strong and distinctive. Beginners should be careful.
Very good!

iness as the MacBaren blends.
Smokiness aside, this is a great VaBur/DFK flake. It burns easy if you dry it out and break it up. I tried fold and stuff and it didn't burn as well. I smoked in a Cob and a briar and the cob tasted better. It toned down some of the bite. But even in a briar the bite isn't bad at all. This is smooth and rich and strong. I think Peterson should name this Nightcap and rename nightcap. This blend relaxes more than nightcap due to higher Nic. Or at least it seems like it to me. If you like bold Burley and or DFk blends you'll probably like this. I still like Gawith flakes more but this is great too....Read More
