This is my deserted island smoke. If I get to pick two, I'll add Sunset Harbor just for variety. It burns cool pretty much no matter how I abuse it. The flavor is complex and develops beautifully through the bowl. It goes great with coffee, tea, Dr. Pepper-- pretty much anything you want to drink with it. Even milk is pretty dang good with it. Sweet, bready, fermenty. Sometimes I get notes that remind me of dark rye bread and stewed greens. Sometimes I get notes that remind me of dark cherries or plums with devil's food cake. I’ve tried burleys before and usually don’t like them super well….. but this one is amazing, it’s almost like an English in taste but still hit some notes of a traditional burly, and the sweetness of Virginia shows. I’m excited to cellar a tin and see how this one expands in flavor
