As far as aromatics go it's pretty light. Pleasant room note. Nutty and smooth, pairs well with a nice black coffee. It's a regular go to for me.

Simple Like a Sugar Cone

This is a tasty aromatic, but one that is quite simple and with little development. I concur with bourbon and vanilla, and that combination sometimes also suggests a sugar cone or Golden Grahams cereal. Burns well, can be pulled a little hot but not easily. Nice.

Masterfully flavorful aromatic that bites like the devil

unnoticed to my palate. It's relatively dry as far as aromatics go and not too sweet, such that I think even Virginia lovers who don't generally care for aromatics might really enjoy this one.
The only downside for me is that Virginia forward blends almost always give me tongue bite, and the bite on this one is particularly nasty. I love the flavor of this blend but it always takes my tongue a full 24 hours to recover from a bowl of it. Even when smoked as slow as possible with the breath method this fine ribbon cut tobacco smokes hot as wildfire and has one heck of a nip, so anyone else who struggles with Virginias should approach Morning Blend with caution....Read More

d VA leaves a natural sweet finish in the mouth afterwards. There’s a hint of a vanillaesq note here and there, but certainly not a nuance that pushes this into a vanilla flavored mixture, it compliments the bourbon. Absolutely no bite whatsoever on my sensitive tongue, and it smokes relatively cool for what it is. The room note is amazing, as the Mrs remarked that she liked the sweet smell of it, whereas she normally remarks that my typical English reminds her of a horse stable. To me, and for those that have visited whiskey distilleries, you’ll definitely pick up an oak like whiskey cask smell in the room. I really like the cut of this; it’s a touch larger than shag and allows for a nice pack and burn. I really can’t find much wrong with this. It’s mildly flavored and doesn’t overwhelm, and perhaps the only fault that I can find is just that... it lacks nicotine. I’d say it’s about 1 outta 5 on the nic scale, which is actually a good thing for some. This is quite simply a light, mellow, sweet and very well developed flavorful smoke.
