A little less Latakia flavor, and a little more mild roundedness (Prefer English Luxury a bit more for more pronounced flavor). Good, but not a favorite for intensity. Seemed to detect a of bitterness once or twice. It's a pretty good smooth, Latakia mild, cool smoking, mild yet solid flavored English.

The flavor starts out as typical English but settles into a nice, smooth, campfire smokiness, that has a fair amount of sweet. Cool weather and coffee makes this a great way to start the day. Definitely nothing wrong with any of these blends but what I lacked was a. traditional, no kidding English blend. Where better to begin my search than Proper English? It's unmistakably English but wonderfully tasty with great smoking manners and a perfect Latakia content (noticeable but not a Lat bomb.) The orientals and Virginia work well together giving it the creamy texture and the quintessential leathery spice taste and smell. 草的裁切比较工整，没有太多的草梗和大片碎叶。味道上是比较传统的英式调配，突出L草的熏香味而奶味较淡，味道上有一定的变化和复杂度，口中回味是舒服的木质熏香味，斗温也比较容易控制，总体是一款很不错的草，值得细细品味。

At the moment I find that I prefer an English with burley — such as Sutliff’s English #1 or their BS 759 Match, or even H&H’s Blackhouse if I’m in the mood for some cavendish — but that preference does not diminish the quality of what Stokkebye has here. It’s as if orientals serve as the base while latakia and Virginia play a much smaller, merely supportive role as condiments, or even garnishes. So if I were in the mood for a bowl of something mostly Turkish, this is what I would probably reach for. For now I’ll stick to big burley balkans, and I’ll cellar this one for a year or so to see how it does with some more time. Read Less
