background. I do not notice much if any of the floral notes from the orientals. Moisture content was good to go out of the bag and was smoked both immediately, after jarring for a week, and after letting it sit and dry for 5-10 minutes just to test various moisture contents.
This carries over into the smoking experience for me as well. Latakia definitely drives the bus, with the Virginias providing a solid backup. The flavor stays predominantly smoky with the Virginia sweetness showing up about mid bowl. The nicotine level is mild to medium. Being mild for the first 2/3 of the bowl and then ramping up to a medium level as it finishes out. That said, I have no problem smoking this first thing in the morning with a cup of black coffee and no food on my stomach.
Requires few to no re-lights depending on how slow I let my cadence drop. Burns down to a fine gray ash with little dottle.
The room and beard note is tolerable. Maintaining that light smoky/campfire smell. It fades away relatively quickly compared to others like Red Odessa or Mystic Moor.

Yes, very good English blend, fantastic composition of tastes and flavors. However, I miss something to take it from 4.5 to 5.0. All the components are there and maybe it’s just me but it is an outstanding blend! And I keep going back to it. It’s a part of my daily rotation.
