About This Pipe Tobacco
When Dunhill announced it would no longer be producing tobacco, pipe smokers rued the loss of some of their favorite mixtures. Thanks to Peterson, however, those beloved blends are still available. They're the same recipes and feature the same tin art as Dunhill's, just re-branded for Peterson.
Peterson here offers Nightcap — a rich blend of Virginia, Oriental, and Latakia tobaccos, intended to be smoked late in the day. It's a smoky, delightfully satisfying mixture, with a hint of Perique added to enhance the bouquet.

Echoes of holy places...

Nightcap is like a personal incense censor. Aromas of cedar and incense call one to a ancient holy places. It is a praying man's tobacco. The flavor is evocative, but not overwhelming. It is balanced and well blended. I like it in the morning and at night.

ell Im glad that I was able to enjoy other types of blends before I tried an english because when I first tried this one I believed it was very un-enjoyable. Being on of the number one English blends this just made me figure that I must not like English blends is all, but as my pallet changed and as I let the blend age and air out a bit I found it more enjoyable. Its salt and peppery, with notes of smokey leather, and a slight plummyness. I think there are better englishes out there for the money, but I can appreciate the journey that this blend went through throughout history....Read More
