I've been pipe-smoking for 45+ years and "grew up" with the OLD Balkan Sobranie, Dunhill 965 and Standard Full, Rattray's Red Rapp and Black Mallory as well as Bengal Slices, State Express, etc. While I have found nothing like these old blends, some of todays are very smoke-able. This, however, raises the bar to another level. If you have been lamenting the old/good stuff, this is worthy of your attention! Probably the best bulk english

I've tried several dozen English blends over the past year, and I've loved and hated many. And in the bulk side of English blends I'd had no luck, but this stuff is not entirely unlike higher end tin english blends, and is pretty much as good as it gets with bulk English.

It's not extremely complicated, on the sweeter side, the latakia isn't particularly intense or muted, it's basically what an english is supposed to be. Compare this to say, father Dempsey, and you will see its not even a contest....Read More
