About This Pipe Tobacco

Erinmore Flake is a superb blend of premium Virginia leaf topped with a secret recipe and aged under pressure to marry the flavors. The aged cake is then sliced thin and packaged. It can be easily rubbed out to suit any taste. Medium in strength with a refreshing aroma. A cool, clean burning all-day smoke.

Right out the gate the flakes look perfect. They are pretty wet so definitely want dry time with this one. Flavor is not what I was expecting. When I hear juicy fruit I’m thinking super sweet but it’s subtle and stays there throughout the whole bowl. Very nice could smoke this on the regular....Read More

This blend holds the number 1 spot on my top 10 of all time list. Very consistent, flavorful, easy smoke. Beautiful flakes, great moisture, and it really can be an all day smoke. It’s rich, with notes of stone/dried fruit. It looks and smells like fruit leather. I almost want to eat it! Doesn’t bite too much. A bit spicy on the retro hale. The Virginia makes it sweet and the burley balances it well. If I didn’t know, I would say there’s a bit of perique or maybe semi cured dark fired, but no, just Virginia and burley. There is obviously a topping, but it accentuates the leaf, rather than overwhelms it. I get the topping more on the tin note than the smoke. It's one of those blends that can be smoked all day long. If STG stopped producing it, I would be sooooo sad....Read More

Opened the tin, immediate Juicy Fruit action. Lit a bowl immediately, was funky, mind you had to load it into a bowl that was previously sessioning University Flake, by the fourth bowl I was somewhat pleased.
