A very strong, but very cool smoke is the result of combining in equal proportions only Malawi Dark Fired Leaf and Indian dark air-cured leaf. No additional flavors. You can smell in this tobacco the Smokey flavor of the dark fired leaf derived from its curing process of being hung above smoky fires, and the sweeter, yet still strong 'cigar type' flavor of the dark-air-cured Indian leaf.

Smells like BBQ, smoked meats, jerky. Needs a lot of drying time. Incredibly sweet after a few months in the jar. Reminds me of teriyaki. More than 5 stars because of incredible nicotine content.

No bite, strong smell, high nicotine. Smoky and I really love the mixture of it smell by using a corn cob.

I have to say that without a doubt that this has be the highest nicotine content of any pipe tobacco that I've had to date! It gave me a strong head buzz. However it is smooth with a hint of sweet in the background. It becomes very smooth after aging. Give it a try!

This is a strong blend with big bold flavor and a tic or two above medium in small bowls and possibly FULL in larger bowls.
I find a short load in a group 3 size bowl to be plenty.
Recommend to all Enthusiasts and newcomers who are ready to advance to a blend with power and flavor.
