More Smokingpipes on Spotify

A couple months ago, Adam asked around the offices at Smokingpipes for volunteers to create playlists for Spotify. The idea was to have a list of songs to enjoy a smoke to, and it was brilliant. When the first three hit the blog, we got a lot of great feedback and requests.
One such request was for us to post the playlists to the blog again, rather than just on Spotify and social media, so here's another batch. If you want to be the first to hear our musical inspiration, or if you don't want to wait for us to post a group to the blog, be sure to follow Smokingpipes.com on Spotify for updates.

Good morning I read carefully your mails. I am leaving in Minano - Italy. Is it possible to buy some mixtures from you ?
Thanks
Riccardo Sardo
Hey Riccardo, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. We can ship any pipe or pipe and cigar accessory to Italy, but unfortunately, we cannot ship tobacco to Italy at this time. Here's a link to our international shipping page if you have any further questions: http://www.smokingpipes.com/information/faq/intshipping.cfm
Well, here is my "old school" response - while I think this is a great idea and that many will enjoy these, I find playlists in general to be something of a generational thing. My kids (20 and 17) have many, but I (58) have none, because I grew up listening to albums in their entirety at a time when albums were meant to be listened to in their entirety. Of course, we had great FM radio back then in which DJ's would create their "playlists," but I still tend to put one thing on and leave it on - especially when smoking a pipe, which leads me, at least to desire things that are longer, more considered and more of a piece. Indeed, I find pipe smoking to be one of my bulwarks against the multi-tasking, mind-hopping tendencies of the digital world. I am a blues-rock guitarist and listen to lots of that kind of thing but, when enjoying a pipe, am more likely to put on something like Debussy or Bill Evans. But that's just me. ;-)
