About This Pipe
I don't believe I've ever seen a briar with such consistently flame-like grain over so much of its surface as this "KKKK" pot from Castello. The bowl and the flanks of the shank? Flame grain. Top of the shank? Smoldering, smokey birdseye. The rim? Ditto. The pipe has all the appearance of being a self-contained conflagration frozen in time, which is, I suppose, perfectly fitting. Undoubtedly, it is beautiful.
