First introduced by General Cigar Co. in 2014, the famous Amazon Basin series from CAO has now been extended to include the Amazon Basin Daggers. Utilizing the same blend that's loved by many, but now in a shorter smoke. What makes these cigars so special is the rare tobacco that's inside, Braganca. It's harvested from a remote region in the Amazonian rainforest once every 3 years. After harvesting, it is rolled into tubes called carrottes, fermented under high pressure, and then it must be taken back to the mainland on a canoe. As one of the most elusive tobaccos in the world, Scandinavian Tobacco Group is only able to produce their Amazon Basin lines in limited quantities at their Esteli factory in Nicaragua. With an Ecuadorian Sumatra ligero wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, as well as filler from Brazil, Colombia & Dominican Republic - you can expect a medium-full smoking experience. It will be highlighted by the exotic and distinct taste of the Braganca leaf, which will be unlike anything you have smoked.
