Casdagli Basilica Line Cigars

At Casdagli Cigars, each cigar is created with the intention of delivering luxury, elegance, and tradition. Founded by Jeremy Nicholas Casdagli in 1997, the brand is backed by the Casdagli family’s influence from trading luxury goods in the 1800s. Their brand logo, the Colossus of Rhodes, was adopted in the 1880s as the family trading symbol by Jeremy’s great-great grandfather, Emmanuel, who was born and spent significant time in Rhodes, located in southeastern Greece.

Casdagli has grown from a small, regional brand that began its original production in the 1990s in Cuba, 100% hand-rolled by Carlos Valdez Mosquera, their master torcedor, into a worldwide name. After Carlos’s retirement, the brand discovered the Kelner Boutique Factory operated by Hendrik Kelner Jr., beginning a partnership that has led to four cigar lines: the Traditional, the Club Mareva, the Basilica, and the Cabinet Selection. The Daughters of the Wind and Cypher 3311 lines were once called Bespoke cigars, yet were rebranded in 2018 to celebrate Casdagli’s growth
