About This Cigar
Don Pepín cigars come from Don José "Pepín" García, founder of El Rey de los Habanos in Miami. Known across the industry as a master blender, García has had a hand in creating a wide range of well-known cigar brands, both his own and for others. Since opening his factory in 2002, he's built a reputation for bold, well-made cigars using Nicaraguan, Ecuadorian, and Habano-seed tobaccos.
Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial is a blend created by Jaime García, son of cigar legend José "Don Pepín." First introduced in 2009 with a single toro gordo, the line was born out of Jaime's own blending style and has since expanded into a full range of vitolas, including both regular production and limited releases. The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Connecticut is built around a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers grown on the García family farms. The blend delivers the rich, hearty character the family is known for, while showcasing Jaime's own approach. The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial is offered here in a 6" x 60 Toro Gordo vitola.
