Fat Matt was inspired by the father of company owner Lou Cross' son's fiancé who is a new cigar enthusiast. He catches Peacock Bass, hence the imagery for this cigar. The blend features an aged Ecuadorian Sun-Grown wrapper, with Estelí Ligero binder, overtop of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers. Manufactured at La Tabacaria Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua, these medium-full bodied cigars pack a touch of spice, earthiness, and sweetness.
