The tobacco itself is fairly dry but take the time to add a bit of moisture and you get one of the finest smelling and smoothest tasting va out there. I use to buy whole leaf tobacco and shred it my self. Lemon flue cured is exactly what this smells like. Excellent tobacco

I love D&R's tobaccos. This is just a clean, unadulterated and straight flue cured Virginia. Along with the Windsail Platinum it's perfect for just mellowing down any blend and adding a subtle sweetness.

Again, I think that D & R is underestimated and I agree with Amy B. but not for RYO, I smoke it in a pipe. In my experience most of D & R tobaccos come pretty dry. Not a problem for me. I like them a little dry. I don't detect any additives like humectants. It's just honest, good tobacco.
