It’s a nice aro but I don’t get much flavor from it. If you work you can get some of the bourbon but for me at least that’s about it. I do not detect any coffee at all, nor any vanilla. It’s certainly not bad but not really great either!

This is a Sutliff-made aromatic, which immediately indicates that A) it's well made with quality tobacco, but B) unlike one's dirty laundry, this needs some air time. Once it's properly dried, it smokes like a charm.

Very moist out of the tin. Smells great, nice room note, but someone forgot to make this taste like something. Beginner tobacco. Much ado about nothing.

Step #1 - let this one age in the tin for 6 months or a year before opening. Very smooth, burns well. Not overly done on the topping. Has a slight sweetness on the retro with a hint of the bourbon. Tin note of coffee with vanilla creamer and alcohol. Tobacco is a mix of coarse and ribbon cut of light brown, brown and black. Moisture content is ok. Most pipe smokers will want to dry it out. Burns moderate with a few relights. The strength is medium and nic is mild to medium. Flavoring is medium, with notes of Bourbon, Coffee, Vanilla. Flavoring is fairly prominent in the first 1/3, dwindles in the 2/3 to background flavors. Taste is medium and moderately consistent, with notes of sweet bourbon, vanilla, coffee, peaty vegetation, spices, floral, cocoa, hay, molasses, nuts, acidic, mildly savory, wood, sugar, a slightly spicy vanilla and bread background note, and a peppery retro. Burley is leading with Cavendish and Flavoring supporting. Virginias must be supporting from afar. Room note is pleasant, and aftertaste is good....Read More
