upon opening the tin, the strong vanilla smell made me concerned that it would be too sweet and artificial. The tobacco was wrapped in plastic versus paper like i was used to which made me concerned as well, and the tobacco was more on the dry side as there is no way to tell how old it is. The tobacco itself lit easily, the vanilla isn't artificial, and is a nice back note. The order listed on the components i would say is exactly the mix; Black Cavendish that is flavored with vanilla, burley which adds some nutty/ creamy notes, and a pinch of Virginia which adds some brightness and rounds out the blend.
