Still working on this one...

Product: Cornell & Diehl Orient Express 2oz
Just started working on a tin dated twenty five months ago; and I give it a "a bit below average" rating. It isn't one I would reorder more of, but it's tolerable for now. Mild? Yes! There are faint hints of floral/herbs...definitely in the forefront and is a tiny bit sour. I suggest smoking this when comfortable and quiet...and attempt to learn how it smokes best. And, please, share what you learn if you succeed in making this one a winner. Because I have yet to find the way to enjoy this....Read More

Light, grassy and - yes - lemony leaves which burn smoothly and easily. The tobacco it contains is all Virginia and it is mildly flavored with Lemon and honey.
Stale, Bland, Weak, Flavorless

Tastes like nothing. This is very weird. First, the ribbons are incredibly dry, because my tin was not vacuum sealed, like a Drucquer or Pease tin. That's also weird for C&D, which are usually vacuum sealed. No flavor upon lighting and none ever develops in the bowl. It's like stale cigarettes. I'm so disappointed. I waited over three years to open this, and it's awful. Completely flavorless. It's not "bad", as to be bad it would have to taste like something. This tastes like nothing. Whenever I open a new tin of C&D I usually don't like it at first, so I jar it and come back in 2-3 months and it's better. I don't think that can happen here because the ribbons are bone dry with zero flavor to adjust. What a bummer. Half a star is a stretch....Read More

Product: Cornell & Diehl Orient Express 2oz
I hate to give bad reviews. Especially for a tobacco from a company that makes so many blends I really like. HOWEVER, this may be the worst tobacco I've ever subjugated myself to. I gave this an honest try with 6 or 7 bowls of the stuff through various styles of pipes. I probably came close to smoking half of the tin, regretfully. It just gets worse every time. It's like smoking a burned gym sock that was soaked in roofing tar and antiseptic cleaners. I regret every bowl I smoked of this, and threw it away....Read More
Mild and strange

Product: Cornell & Diehl Orient Express 2oz
Mild English, slightly pleasant latex taste but hard to nail down, definitely sour, easy to smoke too hot so need to go slow. Not bad but not a go-to.
