Delivering rich Black Cavendish with equal measures of matured Red and Bright Virginias and specially sourced Katerini Turkish leaf, this magical holiday mixture delights with notes of allspice, cinnamon, and vanilla.

We Three Kings is a lightly topped Virginia/Oriental blend, with notes of baked goods enhancing the flue-cured and sun-cured leaves' inherent sweetness and spice. 2014 blend: Tin note of vanilla, earth, and a mild note of cinnamon toast. Tobacco cut is a mix of tan ribbon, reddish-brown broken flake and black broad cut. Tobacco is somewhat dry, no drying needed. Burns slightly slow with few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. Flavoring is mild, with notes of allspice, cinnamon and light vanilla. Taste is mild to medium and mostly consistent, with notes of very woody, very herbal, very floral, earthy, lemon grass, mildly sweet dark fruit, and mildly peppery retro. The 31.25% Red Virginia and 31.25% Bright Virginia are ganging up on the 31.25% Katerini Turkish while the 6.25% Cavendish plays referee. Flavoring is calling the fight. Woah... this is some fine tobacco. The spices used in conjunction with the leaf is at another level. These aren't artificial flavorings... this are natural and robust spices cooked down and condensed for use in the topping. Yes, it's light on added flavorings and is tobacco forward, but the delicate use of cinnamon, allspice and vanilla is deliberate and refined. It enhances rather than sublimates the tobacco. The vanilla is most pronounced in the tin note, but isn't so prominent in the smoke. Holiday-spiced pastries is what this immediately conjures in flavor and room note. Smooth, sweet, tasty, slightly floral/herbaceous, and very, very satisfying. Like all C&D, this is a natural tasting and pure product. A Three Kings have a very delicious flavor. I love the blend of Virginia and Orientals because are sweet and pleasurable in the mouth. Indeed the Virginia aroma it's perfect. A good choice.

I have to give this 5 stars. I think the addition of the Orientals is making this one stand out for me. I highly recommend giving this a try even if you are not a aromatic smoker.

It tastes like Christmas morning at grandma's house. The aroma reminds me of fresh gingerbread straight from the oven, a friend who came for a visit asked if I was baking cookies. Overall I loved it and will definitely be getting a couple more tins to cellar.
