For a bulk option this is excellent, great flavor and burns well. I bought a pound and have been steadily going through it and loving the consistency and flavor. Def not lacking on Latakia or orientals(IMO as I am not a lat fanatic), cheers! 💨

I am relatively new to pipe smoking, and English blends are just starting to hit for me. This has been a lovely blend, I sometimes add a pinch of the Morning smoke blend from the same 4th Gen series to make it softly aromatic. Just a great bowl of tobacco.

Package note of smoky, sharp sweet, and mild mustiness. The tobacco is mostly a dark brown, black, and tan ribbon cut. Tobacco is moist, but not enough to warrant drying out. There are some sizeable stems that may need removing or cutting down. Burns slightly slow with relights. The strength is medium and nic is mild. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium and consistent, with notes of smoky wood, dry earth, tangy lemon, floral, leather, mild sweet grass, mild spicy, mild bread, mild musty sour bitterness, and a peppery retro. Latakia is leading with Oriental supporting. Virginias provides minor support from the background. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is great....Read More

Quality tobacco as you might expect. Not very strong in latakia. More virginia and oriental forward. Nice cut and burns well. If you’re looking for an all day English, then this one is for you.

Reminiscent Murray's Dunhill Standard Mixture

This is very reminiscent of Murray's Dunhill Standard Mixture; mild, natural tasting, light hand on the latakia, a little more forward on the Orientals and VA. The VA is a mixture in flavor of an herbal VA cavendish and bready-stoved VA. The Orientals are more forward; verdant, herbal, musty and while Oriental can be sour, these are more sweet. Oriental reminds me of old library books... that musty smell of dust, leather and old paper. Although I state 'natural', there's an artificial sweetness in this that tingles the tongue... maple sugar perhaps? It doesn't detract form the natural taste, but you'll know it's there. I will note that the cut is awesome! I love this finer cut. Nicotine is 2.5 out of 5. The higher nicotine caught me off guard, but then it does have less Latakia so I should've been prepared for that. I like this one.
