About This Pipe Tobacco

A pipe tobacco mixture of Virginias and Burley, Peterson's Hyde park is first pressed and cut before being rubbed out into a broken flake. The blend is further elevated by subtle flavorings of rum and maple sugar to highlight the Virginias' natural sweetness and the rich boldness of the Burley, making for a medium- to full-bodied tobacco with an appealing aroma.

Average aromatic. It's not goopy like Crème Brûlée, but it's way outside the regular Burley category. Not a huge fan of this stuff. See, Virginia sugars are natural, so they do wonderful things with careful aging. But the fake sugars and chemicals they pour over this stuff do not behave the same way. Yuck....Read More

like all the petersons has its own characteristic very light rum flavor at the background but if you are looking for so much flacvor and aroma this is not an aromatic tobacco once in a while im gonna buy this first light feels better than the second though

One of the better English blends I’ve had. I’m not sure if you’d really consider this an English blend or just a Virgina blend, but nonetheless it is very subtle and has a wonderful Virginia sweetness to it. I was lucky enough to get a tin that already had 5 years age to it! I’ll need to buy a newer tin to compare apples to apples but I’m loving this aged blend so far!...Read More
