I very exited when recieve it because it aging in tin 3year old but it comes dried.(even not coin) i agree about bbq taste but never felt zesty, savory taste or smell it seems gone with moisture worst thing is can't expect getting better so much dry that can't aging more.....Read More

I had to check when I bought this here at SP, and it turns out that was five years ago, in 2020! I also remember not really liking it at the time. So I put it in a jar and cellared it, forgetting that I had bought this tobacco. As pipe smokers, we clean and check what we have bought from time to time, and so I found this and gave it a try. It's heavenly... what a great smoke! Dark fruits, honey, deep, strong and perfectly balanced. I love Dark Fired Kentucky and this has become one of my favourites after 5 years. I am currently smoking this tobacco all day long and as long as I have still some left in my jar. This is definitely a great tobacco — at least for me — as we all have different tastes....Read More

Product: Savinelli Doblone d'Oro 100g

Malty, sweet, savory, spicy, with notes of honey, nuts, burned meat and bbq sauce. Never biting, ever flavorful, always satisfying. The dark fired Kentucky and Burley easily take center stage, but the VA sweetness permeates through out the bowl. The perique is a wonderful tingle on the nose, never once getting harsh. Leaves behind a soft white ash in the bowl of my Nording Freehand, next to no moisture in the chamber. And the room note! Even the wife approves!

This is my most ordered blend for a reason. I've smoked many blends so far, and Doblone D'Oro is one of the precious few blends I keep coming back to, because I know the smoke will aways be golden....Read More
