Stinky but sweet

I enjoy the flavor of this blend, and all the interesting nuances in flavor. I have tried it in different pipes, and it definitely shines in a wider bowled billiard, which allows for that ever so sweet citrus taste to shine through. However I rate it 4/5 because it has won me no friends in the room note department. It will be a shame to see this blend go....Read More

I am currently smoking this as I am typing and let me tell you its just *chefskiss* my rotation currently is this, plum pudding, and emp. I want to get into the holiday spirit with all these Christmas blends I've bought but just can't let revelation match go. When I get off of work and jump into the car I light this bad boy up before I even put on my seat belt and enjoy every red light and stop sign along my way home. I will be buying a couple of pounds 1 1/2 to cellar ( I want to see what happens with time) and the rest to sit back and relax with....Read More

Enjoyable But Likely Won’t Buy Again

I enjoyed this blend. It is heavily cased/topped but it doesn’t taste of chemicals. The tobacco taste is very mild. Very unique overall. I would happily smoke it if I had it on hand. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get more. My score: 3.5 My scale: 1-2.5 - bad 3 - not worth buying 3.5 - worth buying to try 4 - it’s worth buying and re-buying on occasion 4.5-5 - it is worth buying in bulk quantities and cellaring deep...Read More

I no longer remember the original, but this one is a good blend on its own merits. It has the characters of burley and latakia, with a mild plum and rum note. It smokes cool, smooth, and flavorful. Medium blend. Highly recommended.

Ok I guess, but not a regular for me

Says it's a ribbon, but...strange kinda ribbon cut. Super easy to load this, easy to light, stays lit well with no relights, the flavor is very mild to a point where it's strange for an English to be so weak, not complaining but almost the kind of "hot air" you expect from Sutliff aromatics, this is an "all day smoker" I imagine, there's just no bite and no problem with too much flavor or nicotine, most of the flavor seems to be from the Latakia/Kentucky parts, but there are subtle burley tastes with very light almost unnoticable traces of perique and virginia....Read More
