About This Pipe
Something quite a bit different from the universally acclaimed dean of German pipe carving: Rainer Barbi. One of the key themes in Barbi's aesthetic is his elongation of classic pipe forms, imbuing those forms with a sense of grace and movement that they would otherwise lack, and that element is very much in play here. However, the pairing of a diamond shank is something of a road less traveled for Rainer.
