About This Pipe
This Peter Klein looks a lot like a Ruthenberg in profile to me, even down to the detail of the half saddle stem. Brian makes great pipes and many people look to him for inspiration, so this might not be just a coincidence. I love plateau crowning on straight grains (plateau IS the grain, so you can't have a plateau rim on a cross grained piece). I'm somewhat surprised to see a few fills on this, but it must have been a struggle to contemplate sandblasting or rusticating with such nice grain everywhere.
