Peterson's "B" series of shapes presents designs that are more playful and creative compared to the Irish marque's standard chart, often combining elements of several classic forms. The less-often seen "B2" is offered here. It sits like a Poker but features a Bulldog-like bowl, wrapped by beadlines and tapering above and below. A substantial piece with thick, insulating walls, this 2008 example is wearing the deep rustication of the Donegal Rocky line, elevated by an accent of Nickel.

One of Peterson's most traditional finishes, the Aran presents a color palette of chocolatey stain and jet-black stem. In the smooth iteration, it highlights the briar's natural grain pattern with handsome reservation — not distracting from the form's shape yet, at the same time, offering enough definition and detail to remain intriguing and individual, accented here with a flashy nickel band to add some formal panache and elegant appeal.
