About This Pipe
Known for their whimsical shaping style and penchant for bold, neoclassical proportions, Ser Jacopo crafts some stunning briars, as evidenced by this bent Brandy. Muscular and substantive, the bowl here strikes a dynamic posture as it cants forward and tapers from its wide, pronounced heel to its narrow rim. The bowl, in typical neoclassical style, holds most of the visual weight within the composition, overshadowing the comparatively more slender build of the angled shank-and-stem arrangement. Dressed in a craggy, ruby-tinged rustication, the stummel provides plenty of stimulating texture for the fingers to explore, while a hardwood accent along the shank end offers a touch of warmth to the pipe's otherwise reserved color palette.
