About This Pipe

A classically inclined, deep-chambered rendition of the timeless Billiard, Savinelli's "111 KS" is a bold take on the shape chart standard and is proudly Italian in its execution. The towering bowl commands much of the shape's visual weight, paired to a comparatively slimmer, round shank and tapered mouthpiece. The "111 KS" is closely related to the marque's "104" Billiard, with the primary difference being that this "111 KS" is slightly longer and contains more muscular proportions throughout. Such features are ideal for fans of traditional pipe designs who also prefer an arrangement that offers more chamber depth for longer smokes and a substantial presence in hand.

The highest tier within Savinelli's standard lineup, the Giubileo d'Oro series presents the Italian marque's superlative pieces. Meaning "Golden Jubilee" in Italian, the Giubileo d'Oro series denotes Savinelli pipes par excellence, and the strict standards determining Giubileo d'Oro pieces mean that only 0.1% of Savinelli's total production is found worthy of the line's iconic three brass dot stem logo. As such, these pipes showcase choice grain patterns and exquisite finishes — from concisely defined sandblasts to gorgeously arrayed flame grain and birdseye. This particular example wears the line's sandblasted finish, highlighting the briar's natural grain in a traditional and textured palette that's further commended by a band of gold.
