MBSD Timeless Traditions Sandblasted Billiard with Silver (1) Tobacco Pipe

The stummel of this Billiard from MBSD displays handsome growth rings that fan outward from the junction between the bowl and the shank, giving the bowl some eminently handsome vertical ring grain that stretches from near the heel to the rim. The bowl is straight-walled even for a Billiard and backed by a relatively slender shank, all of it stained a reddish-walnut hue and backed with a silver dome accent. The stem is vulcanite, tapering lightly back to the bit from a round orientation near the silver. This piece cuts a classic profile and supplies rich color and texture to the eyes and fingertips, going far beyond the typical rendition of the Billiard shape.
