Olivewood Paneled Billiard (2025) Tobacco Pipe

In 1981, Tonino Jacono, his father-in-law, and his brother-in-law banded together to form the Jacono brand with the intent of making high quality pipes at the best possible price. Crafted from Olivewood, this paneled Billiard is an outstanding example of Jacono's expert craftsmanship applied to an alternative medium. Eight facets give structure to the bowl, which houses a capacious chamber. The shank, softly paneled, tapers out of an obtuse transition into the stem, which continues said taper into its narrow bit. The piece rests upright atop a flat heel, making it a convenient desk pipe. The stummel's virgin stain, beige in hue, is complemented by a dark red, cumberland-like acrylic stem.
