Nimbus 'G' Natural (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Rattray's Nimbus line is named for the rings of fire and light adorning the heads of saints, angels, and other divine characters in medieval and Renaissance art. The series consists of a singular Calabash design with bright aluminum accents adorning the rim and shank end, the flashy accoutrements vibrantly contrasting the stummel's coloration. Shape-wise, this interpretation maintains the sinuous S-curve associated with traditional gourd Calabashes, but instead of the shape's characteristic cooling chamber and removable meerschaum cap, the Scottish marque has opted for a metal rim that's affixed to the stummel. Such a design choice affords the Nimbus Calabash a significantly deep chamber and will help protect the briar from charring when lighting the tobacco. Additionally, this "G" example is fashioned from ash wood and features a graphite chamber insert that is tasteless, odorless, and easy to clean.
