About This Pipe

Every great once in awhile, a pipe will come along that almost knocks the breath out of you, and I found this Tsuge Ikebana "D" grade tulip to be such a pipe. Inspired by the work of Sixten and Lars Ivarsson, this is a delightful slightly bent pear/tulip from Tsuge. The grain on the composition is phenomenal, as pleasing on that wonderful, flared shank as it is on the bowl. The subtle, asymmetrical elements add a "Nihon" flavor to a Danish classic.
