Rusticated Bent Apple (08) (AT) Tobacco Pipe

In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to establish their own workshop: Caminetto. Their exceptional craftsmanship quickly elevated Caminetto into one of the most sought-after marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Apple is a handsome example of the workshop's style, featuring a plump bowl that dominates the profile. Following the bowl is an uplifted, square shank that creates a geometric juxtaposition beside the robust bowl. Dressing the stummel is a dark stain and deep rustication, offering a wealth of tactile detail to the design.
