About This Pipe
Founded by Carlo Scotti in 1947, Castello is recognized by some enthusiasts for being one of the first Italian brands to separate from the conventional English and French shaping standards. All of their pipes are individually shaped by a small team of artisans who focus on quality in both form and function. This Poker is a handsome example of the Italian workshop's Italian neoclassic inclinations. The bowl stands tall with a subtle slant, balancing well on its sure-sitting heel. The shank end is carved with distinct grooves, and the entire stummel wears Castello's dark Collection finish. Completing the design is a swiftly bent push-style stem that offers the smoker a comfortable posture. Showcasing handsome grain throughout, this offering boasts some particularly exceptional birdseye that has earned Castello's esteemed "Occhio di Pernice" grade.
