The bowl's walls are exceptionally broad, even for a Tomato, and plump to boot. The visual weight and overall focus remain firmly fixed on said bowl, as the shank it's paired to is quite brief, and the stem that joins it is slender and arcs gracefully away from the fore of the composition. Dressed in a dark, craggy rustication — Castello's Sea Rock finish — the stummel exhibits a touch of ruggedness, as well as plenty of stimulating texture for the hand to appreciate.
