About This Pipe
After looking at about three hundred of darned near anything, even I can see a pattern (here and there). Only about ten percent of Claudio's work can be classified as a canadian, or one of its variants (lumberman, liverpool and lovat), and what work he does in the genre tends to lean towards the tapered bit, not the saddle. It should also be noted that his c/l/l/l shapes also tend to be his largest. Well, long shank, and then one has to add in the Italian tendency to have a compositionally dominant bowl. you're just going to get a big pipe. This pipe would actually come in at about a Dunhill Group 4-5. The grain could also be classified in a Dunhill manner. I'm thinking "*** to ****".
