About This Pipe
A bold, English-style Billiard, Dunhill's "03" defines the form with a full-bodied bowl and austere presence in profile. This Group 5 example is of even more muscular character, as the stout shank transitions into a firm, thick-walled bowl. Such proportions pair well with the County line's rustic sandblast, offering plenty of surface area on which to appreciate the finish's rugged texture.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
