About This Pipe
A sub-brand of Ser Jacopo, Mastro Geppetto produces handmade pipes that showcase the same playful shaping as their parent brand, but at a more approachable price point. This bent Apple is one of the latest offerings from the Italian workshop, and it offers a glimpse into the more reserved side of their portfolio.
This elegant bent Apple is a fairly compact offering, measuring 5.5 inches in length, and housing a modest chamber that's 1.35 inches deep. Despite this pipe's overall reserved shaping, the bowl exhibits no shortage of plumpness, with cheeking at the transition emphasizing the already robust form. Said bowl perches at the fore of a sinuously bent shank-and-stem arrangement whose graceful, elegant curvature promotes a comfortable clench. Dressed in the dark, smooth, rich Liscia finish, the stummel showcases plenty of handsome grain.
