About This Pipe
Though Musico is an Italian marque, their pipes tend to hew closer to the Anglo-French carving style, though occasionally deviating with small, whimsical touches here and there. With its balanced build and sleek profile, this bent Billiard is a fitting example of Musico's slightly reserved style.
The sleek, near-tubular bowl stands proudly at the fore of an arrow-straight, cylindrical shank, which is itself joined by a widely flaring fishtail stem. The stummel wears a warm, earthy sandblast, lending the briar a wealth of tactile appeal while accentuating its dense, hearty grain. A cumberland mount tops things off, creating a pleasing transition between the sandblasted stummel and the jet-black stem.
