About This Pipe
Though Musico is an Italian marque, their pipes tend to hew closer to the Anglo-French carving style, though occasionally deviating with small, whimsical touches here and there. This Billiard from Musico is a fitting example of their usual fare, with a subtly muscular bowl poised pertly at the fore of a low-set, silver-accented shank, which is joined by a rather demurely bent stem of vulcanite. The lengthy, arrow-straight shank offers plenty of room to comfortably drape a digit, and the bowl houses a moderately sized chamber that's sure to suit a wide variety of tobacco blends. In addition to the fetching silver band at the junction, the stummel wears a deep, rich, smooth finish that perfectly accentuates the briar's curlicues of birdseye and hearty tendrils of cross grain.
