The story of the Musico workshop began with Giorgio Musico, who frequently bought pipes from Italian pipe maker Fritz Becker. Their sons, Massimo Musico and Paolo Becker, would go on to found the Becker & Musico workshop, which primarily crafted classic pipe shapes. Eventually, the two went their separate ways, with Massimo Musico continuing to pursue a traditional aesthetic. This Billiard by Musico is a classically-inclined rendition of the archetypal shape, possessed of an upright bowl, proportional shank, and sleek tapered stem. Furthermore, the muscular stature of the fore manifests the composition's bowl-centric aesthetic while retaining a cohesive balance. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a rustic chestnut sandblast, while the shank end features a flashy silver military mount for easy cleaning and style.
