The set comprises two pipes of shared aesthetic and similar size, but different shape and finish, yet both fashioned from the same block of briar.

The first piece is a smooth Acorn, and the second a sandblasted Apple: Both feature straight postures and bulbous, organic bowls, and bamboo extends the shank of each pipe. The Acorn's bowl is perched on the end of three bamboo knuckles, the poised posture accentuating the shape's organic disposition, and the grain orientation perfectly follows the bowl's contours: Vertical grain flows around the midsection in a consistent band, while dense birdseye populates the soft rim and demure heel spur. Neatly forward-canted, the shape is dynamic and streamlined, balanced out by an abbreviated saddle stem of subtle downturn.

Completing the set is a straight Apple, with a sandblasted finish that highlights fine growth rings stacked up the bowl. The heel drops slightly below the shank's bottom line, hinting at the Acorn, but without the protruding spur.
