About This Pipe

Peterson's Archive Series offers collectors and longtime enthusiasts a unique opportunity to revisit some of the Irish marque's most celebrated and long-discontinued releases. Issued in limited quantities, the Archive collection revives beloved series and past favorites that have become increasingly difficult to find, allowing a new generation of smokers to experience these distinctive designs. For 2026, the lineup reaches beyond the return of the 2019 Pipe of the Year to include cherished collections such as the Molly Malone, Great Explorers, River, Writers, and Adventures of Sherlock Holmes series. Blending nostalgia with Peterson's enduring craftsmanship, the Archive Series celebrates the marque's rich history while offering rare additions worthy of any discerning collection.

Introduced in 2010, Peterson's Writers Collection pays tribute to four of Ireland's most celebrated literary figures, commemorating their contributions to the nation's cultural heritage. Among the authors are William Butler Yeats and George Bernard Shaw, a renowned poet and an acclaimed playwright, both of whom are featured in this year's Archive Collection. Each shape was thoughtfully selected to reflect the character and legacy of its namesake, with every pipe dressed in a rusticated finish and fitted with Peterson's classic Fishtail stem. Representing Yeats is a sturdy Cherrywood shape, while a muscular bent Dublin embodies Shaw, each offering a distinctive interpretation of the author it celebrates.
