About This Pipe
Virgin finishes are less common than their stained counterparts, the pale, natural aesthetic highlighting any and every tiny sandpit or minor flaw in the briar. As such, only certain blocks lend themselves to the finish, and the lack of stain ensures that years of smoking will darken the stummel with a warm, enticing patina. Radice's Pure pipes celebrate virgin finishes, and it's presented here in the form of a Rind rusticated Billiard — the shape marked by a plump bowl and a tapering shank-and-stem arrangement.
