Savinelli's Autograph line offers pipes that fall outside of the Italian firm's usual shape chart, and are handcrafted by the workshop's most experienced artisans. Those artisans are given complete creative freedom when shaping the line's pipes, resulting in charming pieces like this bent Brandy. As a shape, this piece features a stocky, full-bodied bowl that stands at the fore of a sturdy shank and a demurely curved saddle stem. The bowl tapers from its wide, slightly pronounced heel to its taut rim, and as it does, it takes on a subtle forward cant that lends the composition a dynamic stance in profile. A dark, sandblasted finish completes the ensemble and highlights gorgeous grain across the bowl and shank alike.
