Savinelli's Autograph series features limited-production, handmade pipes from the Italian marque, with stummels of specially aged briar that are turned by the workshop's three most experienced carvers. This series allows the artisans to deviate from the marque's typical shape chart, resulting in striking, one-of-a-kind interpretations of classic shapes — this bent Billiard included.

This offering boasts a tall, forward-canted bowl with a generous chamber paired to an upturned, flaring shank whose face is decorated with craggy, earthy plateau for a touch of rugged organicism. A stylized stem meets the flaring shank, the former featuring curled, flaring shoulders and a plump expansion ring for a pleasing and whimsical sense of visual rhythm. Dressed in a light, smooth finish, the stummel showcases a wealth of gorgeous grain, which has been maximized to great effect with no shortage of panache.
