Collection Occhio di Pernice Billiard (KK) (2025) Tobacco Pipe

A handsome Billiard from the renowned Castello workshop, this piece features a tall, upright bowl that stands atop a plump, slightly protruding heel. Said heel emphasizes the bowl's muscular build and thick, insulating walls while lending a touch of forward-driving momentum to the overall form. In typical Italian neoclassic style, the bowl holds most of the visual weight within the composition, overshadowing the comparatively slender shank-and-stem arrangement that ebbs out back. The shank and stem are joined via a black acrylic spigot mount that allows the pipe to be easily broken down. The auburn Collection finish dresses the stummel and highlights a display of birdseye so dazzling that Castello awarded this piece the Occhio di Pernice designation, which is reserved for pipes with truly exceptional birdseye.
