About This Pipe
The Autograph series pipes are the premier compositions in Savinelli's repertoire and are hand-carved pipes using only the best aged briar. This robust Dublin bowl couldn't feel more at home in hand. The walls of the bowl are amply thick, which makes for a handsomely wide, rounded rim with birdseye that peers through. The bent shank is square and drilled to 6mm to allow for the patented Savinelli balsa filter system. As expected from the Autograph line, the briar shows off its "fiammatura" ("flame") grain distinctly through the rich stain. Inspected by Giancarlo Savinelli himself, the pipe bears his signature along the unique saddle stem.
