About This Pipe
In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. This bent Billiard by Radice is a bowl-dominant composition, featuring a tall, cylindrical bowl that fits comfortably in the hand. Said bowl is paired to a high-kicking shank-and-stem arrangement that lends a touch of curvature to the form. Dressed in Radice's vaunted Clear finish, the grain this pipe reveals is so good that it's also earned the brand's superlative "Gold" stamping, with dense streaks of flame surrounding the bowl's walls.
