About This Pipe
Italian pipe design is often marked by disparate proportions between the bowl and shank, with the former usually dominating a piece's visual weight. Such an aesthetic is championed throughout Savinelli's portfolio; however, the Italian marque's "642" bent Apple forgoes this shaping style. Instead, this piece features a robust shank that rivals the bowl's plump muscularity. The proportions are hearty and appealing, especially to those who enjoy the signature look of Peterson, particularly their "XL02" bent Apple.
Since its debut in 2013, Savinelli's Saint Nicholas series has been the brand's most festive annual release, celebrating the Christmas season with a selection of the Italian firm's iconic shapes dressed in distinctive, Yuletide-inspired colorways. For 2026, each pipe pairs a rugged rusticated finish and deep ruby stain with a vibrant emerald-green acrylic stem, while a contrasting red accent band at the junction is framed by gleaming metallic trim.
